Position: Recruitment Consultant (M & E Environment) Salary: Dependant on skills and experience Location: Glasgow City Centre Prime Staff has built one of the most experienced, dedicated and motivated recruitment teams in the market place. Due to a growth in business levels, a position has arisen within the successful Construction Division. You will be responsible for a desk which deals with the white collar aspect of construction predominantly M&E, recruiting for Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Managers and Project Managers. You will be involved in the full recruitment process managing temporary and / or permanent vacancies and you will be expected to expand the client base through business development as well as maintain existing relationships. Your responsibilities will include: · Writing / placing adverts on various websites. · Liaising with clients to gather all information and accurate job specs. · Offering a search and selection service to clients and sending suitable CVs. · Conducting competency based candidate interviews. · Managing candidate availability to meet client needs. · Marketing candidates on a speculative basis. · Carry out marketing / mailer activities mainly via email. · Make speculative calls to potential clients. · Visit clients to identify existing and potential needs. · Assist in the preparation of proposals and tenders and negotiate fees. · Any other recruitment activity as required. To be considered for this role you will already be proficient in the provision of skilled managerial and technical personnel to building, civil, mechanical and electrical, residential and fit out industries. Based from the established offices in Glasgow, you are perfectly situated to service the construction needs of the surrounding areas. You will be a strong business developer with excellent sector knowledge that will aid you to turn more of your contacts into clients. You will be able to work and react within a fast paced environment and be able to work to targets. You should have an outgoing personality and be able to communicate effectively and competently at all levels. The ability to use your own initiative and strive to obtain results is paramount.
