Key Responsibilities / Duties
Position: Personnel Administrator
Salary: circa £18,000 per annum
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Our client, a global company based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre is looking to recruit and experienced Personnel Administrator to join the team.
With a proven track record from a similar role and a flexible working attitude, you will be responsible for wide variety of duties including:
• Liaising with various departments and clients throughout the workd.
• Assisting with recruitment, selection and induction of personnel,
• Identifying training requirements and arranging courses.
• Accurate maintenance of schedules and staff records.
• Interviewing.
• Verifying documents / ID and checking references.
• Issuing letters
• Assisting with the payroll process and working to deadlines.
• Monitoring staff appraisals.
• Monitoring expiry of documents.
• Arranging industry standard medicals.
• Making travel arrangement.
• Providing information for claims and assisting with budget requirements.
• Any other admin duties required.
You will be professional, have strong communication skills and strong IT skills. Experience from a marine / shipping environment would be a distinct advantage. Knoweldge of Outlook , Word and Excel is essential.
