· Supervise the assigned HSEQ team, providing guidance and coach members of the team ensuring that the team works within Company procedures and standards including support the Business Management System as required
· Accountable for delivery of HSEQ plans for each contract by HSEQ Advisors
· Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and industry standards by contact with appropriate organisations and bodies
· Support cross asset systems and processes such as Permit to Work, behavioural observation systems etc. and stimulate HSEQ culture, and encourage best practice
· Support HSEQ induction and training packages and programmes and evaluate their effectiveness
· Participate in systematic inspections and audits to determine HSEQ needs, producing reports on the findings
· Undertake incident investigations and promote incident prevention for the benefit of the company and clients; assisting consistent application of common standards. This includes review of investigation reports by others to assure quality
· Support emergency response arrangements are in place and participate in their implementation as required
